I started a company that serviced the Australian food industry by checking food for pathogens – basically rapid food diagnostics. A difficult business with big players – I captured the Australian market after 6 years and was pretty happy – BUT my wife has restless feet as well – and so off to America we went and I started from scratch once again. I joined the IT world – started as a Technical writer – went to University (once again) completed a 3 year degree course in nine months – and established myself in the software development world. I am now a program manager working for a software development company, developing software for the federal government. I got married in 1981 to Amrita, a girl from New Delhi and we have two sons. The older one Curran (22 years) is just graduating from the University of Virginia with a major in economics and my younger son Kunal will be graduating high school this year and going into University. |
